Tony Albäck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Tony Albäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Kopparberg FK's Per-Olof Vallander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Arne Ekrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Albäck got free with Mark Blomqvist in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Leonard Wajdam reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mark Blomqvist. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 20th minute, Kopparberg FK's Bengt Söderman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bengt Söderman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kopparberg FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bengt Söderman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Kopparberg FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La spånga pojkarnas IF:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Söderqwist got free with Mark Blomqvist in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mark Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Söderqwist in the 27th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Stefan Söderqwist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mark Blomqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kopparberg FK's Mark Blomqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Kopparberg FK from getting a goal against them. Mark Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Rosendal in the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Sjögren in the 47th minute of play forced La spånga pojkarnas IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Staffan Sjögren was the one to do the kick off. Mark Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Söderqwist in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, La spånga pojkarnas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Albäck to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Staffan Sjögren got free with Bengt-Arne Ekrot in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mattias Walmarsson made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kopparberg FK's Jarl Gunnarsson. Stefan Söderqwist kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Niclas Rosendal kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kopparberg FK defense, Leonard Wajdam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Blomqvist. The Kopparberg FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Blomqvist should have stopped the shot. Kopparberg FK's Jarl Gunnarsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mattias Walmarsson, made in the 76th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Kopparberg FK's Jarl Gunnarsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Arne Ekrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niclas Rosendal took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Blomqvist. Mark Blomqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 88th minute, Tony Albäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niclas Rosendal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La spånga pojkarnas IF had won after a very even match.
