Gösta Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bengt-Arne Ekrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Söderqwist struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Stig-Ove Sandell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Niclas Rosendal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penisar FK's Stig-Ove Sandell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig-Ove Sandell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niclas Rosendal's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Niclas Rosendal succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tony Albäck sped through Penisar FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stig-Ove Sandell. If Leonard Wajdam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Niclas Rosendal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La spånga pojkarnas IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Stig-Ove Sandell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Wajdam, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes La spånga pojkarnas IF got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Wajdam. Tony Albäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Ove Sandell having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, La spånga pojkarnas IF's Tony Albäck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Ove Sandell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Gösta Hansson made the kick off in the second half. Tony Albäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig-Ove Sandell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Albäck in the 54th minute. Penisar FK's Stig-Ove Sandell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Penisar FK from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Niclas Rosendal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Stig-Ove Sandell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Rosendal in the 61st minute of the match. Stefan Söderqwist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Penisar FK's Stig-Ove Sandell got control of the ball when Niclas Rosendal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of La spånga pojkarnas IF booed when Penisar FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. La spånga pojkarnas IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Albäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as La spånga pojkarnas IF's Tony Albäck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stig-Ove Sandell. That made the score 0-4 after 79 minutes of play. Niclas Rosendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Stig-Ove Sandell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
