Jens-Erik Ahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Harman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimmy Albom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Lundqvist having to interfere. Eric Fogel kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Team Beard FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Daniel Borre hit a great ball. When Gottfrid Hjortberg fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored barca01's protests and gave Gottfrid Hjortberg a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the match, Linus Björkdal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petter Lundqvist. barca01's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Linus Björkdal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eric Fogel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Team Beard FC's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Ahlbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo Harman. Petter Lundqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Borre went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 34 minutes, Linus Björkdal made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. barca01's Petter Lundqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eric Fogel charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Fogel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Team Beard FC got a freekick which was hit by Eric Fogel. When Örjan Pååk came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Team Beard FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Örjan Pååk couldn't finish the play. Patric Vase hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Albom in the 48th minute of play forced barca01's goalkeeper Petter Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 52nd minute, barca01's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Linus Björkdal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Linus Björkdal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petter Lundqvist was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Linus Björkdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Linus Björkdal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 65th minute Jimmy Albom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petter Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Björkdal in the 66th minute of play forced barca01's goalkeeper Petter Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Örjan Pååk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Team Beard FC defense, Michel Jonasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Erik Ahlbom. The Team Beard FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Erik Ahlbom should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, barca01's goalkeeper Petter Lundqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Örjan Pååk. Petter Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Albom in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Jimmy Albom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petter Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Björkdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Lundqvist having to interfere. Örjan Pååk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Petter Lundqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Team Beard FC's Linus Björkdal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 85 minutes, Jimmy Albom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Beard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmy Albom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Linus Björkdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Örjan Pååk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Lundqvist having to interfere. In the 91st minute, barca01's Olof Vallander seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olof Vallander the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of barca01 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olof Vallander had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jimmy Albom's late challenge caught a barca01's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Albom helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of barca01 booed when Team Beard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Albom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Team Beard FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
