An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Smedfeldt in the 11th minute of play forced Lunden FK's goalkeeper Oscar Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vincent Smedfeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Lindgren was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunden FK's goalkeeper Oscar Lindgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Ahlén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jerry Frykberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Caspersson in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Sköndal RK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vincent Smedfeldt to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes, Lunden FK's Fredrik Backlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jerry Frykberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lunden FK reached it. Jerry Frykberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Ahlén in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Sköndal RK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Emanuel Nilsson hit a great ball. Rune Sjöberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Vincent Smedfeldt struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Oscar Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sköndal RK. After a rather tough play, Lunden FK's Adrian Ahlén got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 75 played minutes Lunden FK got a freekick which was hit by Korneliusz Zarobski. If Rune Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Caspersson in the 80th minute of play forced Lunden FK's goalkeeper Oscar Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Ahlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Frykberg having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Sköndal RK's Jan-Olof Caspersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sköndal RK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
