The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Olov Fridlund hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Morgan Strömberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Uno Hellbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Tinglöf went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Uno Hellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Hökkvist in the 15th minute of the match. Uno Hellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Sandberg in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Lars Sandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Husqvarna FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alfta BF the free kick. Lars Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Uno Hellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Hökkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Husqvarna FF's Harald Hökkvist got a free kick in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Alfta BF's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Hökkvist came free, but Uno Hellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uno Hellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Tinglöf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uno Hellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Tinglöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Alfta BF's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Hökkvist came free, but Uno Hellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Harald Hökkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Uno Hellbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roland Lundkvist made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alfta BF's Måns Brodin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Hökkvist in the 43rd minute of play forced Alfta BF's goalkeeper Uno Hellbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uno Hellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Hökkvist in the 45th minute of play. The Alfta BF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Husqvarna FF were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert Näver to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Näver in the 51st minute of play forced Husqvarna FF's goalkeeper Viggo Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uno Hellbom came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Husqvarna FF's Harald Hökkvist. But to his dismay, Harald Hökkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Uno Hellbom made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ivar Linquist sent off a good shot on target. Uno Hellbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Tinglöf's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Åke Mossberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Viggo Magnusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Husqvarna FF booed when Alfta BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Lindkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harald Hökkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Uno Hellbom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 80 minutes of play, Alfta BF's Evert Näver made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viggo Magnusson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viggo Magnusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Mossberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Evert Näver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Näver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Husqvarna FF defense, Evert Näver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viggo Magnusson. The Husqvarna FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viggo Magnusson should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Husqvarna FF's zone, Åke Mossberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viggo Magnusson came out of the goal and Åke Mossberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
