Fred Kleen scored 7-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klas Vennerström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Fred Kleen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 99 minutes into the game, Ullared IK's Björn Blomqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klas Vennerström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Ullared IK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
