After a rather tough play, Wonderboys's Peder Fernkvist got a free kick in the 4th minute. A hard shot 13 in the game by Marcus Bållström from a close distance when the talented Joacim Myr managed to make a qualified save. Kvadrat's players were relieved. After 14 played minutes Kvadrat got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Ekman. In the 15th minute Urban Nordal suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Ulryk Pracki fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kvadrat's protests and gave Ulryk Pracki a yellow card for diving instead. Ulryk Pracki kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Jens-Åke Hjelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Pracki in the 20th minute of play forced Wonderboys's goalkeeper Alexander Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kvadrat's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stig Palmquist in the 22nd minute. Joacim Myr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Fernkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Pracki in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kvadrat's Jens-Åke Hjelm got a free kick in the 35th minute. Joacim Myr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Bållström in the 44th minute. When Kvadrat's Ulryk Pracki in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wonderboys's goalie prevented a goal. Alexander Strömberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ulryk Pracki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Palmquist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexander Strömberg. Wonderboys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 92 played minutes Kvadrat got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Hjelm. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kvadrat had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
