The nice shot from Platon Sribnyi in the 17thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Arvin Björklund had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Lundqvist in the 19th minute of play forced Lugnvik's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Sundén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Niemoj in the 22nd minute of play forced Upphärad's goalkeeper Arvin Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Johan Sundén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lugnvik getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Peder Sjödin hit a great ball. Gustav Brask fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Björklund having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Lucjan Niemoj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugnvik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Niemoj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Lugnvik's Arvin Björklund threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucjan Niemoj, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Platon Sribnyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Björklund having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Lugnvik's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Lundqvist came free, but Karl-Johan Sundén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Johan Sundén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustav Brask to make the kick off. Karl-Johan Sundén was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nils-Åke Bållström. Staffan Hjortberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lugnvik booed when Upphärad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Bållström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustav Brask fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Björklund having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Platon Sribnyi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Arvin Björklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Platon Sribnyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arvin Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Brask in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Upphärad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Stålman to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Lugnvik's Karl-Johan Sundén got control of the ball when Staffan Hjortberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Platon Sribnyi came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Lugnvik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Platon Sribnyi couldn't finish the play. After 76 played minutes, Lugnvik's Alf Andberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arvin Björklund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lugnvik reached it. In the 81st minute, Peder Sjödin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arvin Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Niemoj, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, John Malmström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Upphärad's zone, Lucjan Niemoj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvin Björklund came out of the goal and Lucjan Niemoj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lugnvik's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
