With a left leg Jimmie Lindström saved Gargnäs from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Clementsson in the 91st minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Walter Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Norberg to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Clementsson came free, but Walter Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
