Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sverker Vennerberg made the kick off which started today's match. Gustav Ekeberg succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 7 played minutes, Buriram United's Eric Löfskog shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andreas Persson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buriram United reached it. Gustav Ekeberg struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Andreas Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buriram United. In the 15th minute Fole United were awarded a corner. Tom Hedlund went to the cornerflag to take it. Tom Hedlund made a great header on Fole United's corner, it was just that Buriram United's Gustav Rudqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Fole United's zone, Gustav Ekeberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Persson came out of the goal and Gustav Ekeberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andreas Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Vennerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sverker Vennerberg in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Persson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Fole United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alex Bergman hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Buriram United's Sverker Vennerberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Andreas Persson stood somewhat misplaced when Sverker Vennerberg came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. 37 minutes into the game, Sverker Vennerberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Andreas Persson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the game, one of Fole United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristian Nordin to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustav Ekeberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buriram United's Gustav Rudqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Nordin in the 65th minute of play. Eric Löfskog took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andreas Persson. Fole United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gustav Ekeberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sverker Vennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Persson having to interfere. Andreas Persson came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Buriram United's Gustav Ekeberg. But to his dismay, Gustav Ekeberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Sverker Vennerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Persson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute Tomas Nordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Rudqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Sverker Vennerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buriram United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. There was no doubt that Buriram United were the better team. Buriram United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
