Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Hagberg in the 4th minute of play forced Munka-Ljungby's goalkeeper Zebastian Söderqwist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Munka-Ljungby's Bo-Erik Nordkvist got a free kick in the 5th minute. Zebastian Söderqwist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Hagberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Fredriksson in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Negros IK's goalkeeper Ronny Sundström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Nyman. Tom Nyman in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronny Sundström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zebastian Söderqwist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Smed in the 18th minute of play. Ronny Sundström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tom Nyman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Nyman got free with Ronny Sundström in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tom Nyman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Ronny Sundström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Jörgen Smed left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Negros IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, Negros IK's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Nordkvist came free, but Ronny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilhelm Jonsson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Negros IK's goalkeeper Ronny Sundström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Nyman. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jörgen Smed's late challenge caught a Munka-Ljungby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörgen Smed helped the player get up and apologised. If Bo-Erik Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Tom Nyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 65 minutes, Tom Nyman made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Negros IK's Ronny Sundström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Negros IK's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Nyman came free, but Ronny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Isaac Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Munka-Ljungby fans cheered their team off the field, for while Negros IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
