But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greger Kellbom couldn't finish the play. Greger Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Lucas Wållander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greger Kellbom in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Kent Gummeson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kent Gummeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ytterhogdal IK's zone, Greger Kellbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Wållander came out of the goal and Greger Kellbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Greger Kellbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Kent Gummeson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romelanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Gummeson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Wållander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Ytterhogdal IK's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Gummeson came free, but Lucas Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Gummeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Wållander having to interfere. In the 25th play minute Ulf Dahlkvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lucas Wållander. 1-0. Ytterhogdal IK's Lucas Wållander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ytterhogdal IK from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Romelanda's Kent Gummeson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucas Wållander. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. Ytterhogdal IK's Lucas Wållander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Kellbom in the 36th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kent Gummeson in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Wållander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 44 minutes, Kent Gummeson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romelanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Gummeson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kent Gummeson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lucas Wållander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Wållander came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Romelanda's Ulf Dahlkvist. But to his dismay, Ulf Dahlkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Greger Kellbom made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Kevin Vestlund made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Wållander. Ytterhogdal IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Greger Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kent Gummeson's late challenge caught a Ytterhogdal IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 91 played minutes, Romelanda's Alexander Arhenius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucas Wållander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Romelanda reached it. Östen Björling hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Kevin Vestlund made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Wållander. Ytterhogdal IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Romelanda's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
