The corner led to Hällekis's Walter Hääger getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 20th minute Jan-Åke Ekblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st play minute Walter Hääger came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alexander Kvarnström. 2-0. Issi United's Alexander Kvarnström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Issi United from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Per-Åke Classon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Issi United booed when Hällekis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Dalström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor Sigfridsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Kvarnström having to interfere. Andy Johansson charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andy Johansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Issi United got a freekick which was hit by Andy Johansson. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gilbert Lundblad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hällekis's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Lundblad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Kvarnström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Hällekis booed when Issi United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walter Hääger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hällekis's Tor Sigfridsson got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Issi United's zone, Jörgen Nordin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Kvarnström came out of the goal and Jörgen Nordin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Kvarnström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walter Hääger went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Marc Björklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Walter Hääger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jörgen Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexander Kvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Sigfridsson in the 62nd minute of play. Walter Hääger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Kvarnström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Walter Hääger made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Kvarnström. Issi United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 69 minutes into the match, Jörgen Nordin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Kvarnström. Issi United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörgen Nordin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Per-Åke Classon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Issi United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Michael Ström charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Ström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Issi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Ström to maneuver through the defense. Walter Hääger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Kvarnström having to interfere. Gilbert Lundblad kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Jörgen Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Björklund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isac Forsman came out and tried to block the shot, but Marc Björklund slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 95th minute.
