Jonny Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Levander, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Jonny Eliasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Ivarsson in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Sandsjöfors IFK's Jonny Eliasson got control of the ball when Karl-Ove Ivarsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Gunnar Ivarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Karl-Ove Ivarsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jonny Eliasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Gunnar Ivarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonny Eliasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 69 minutes into the match, Sandsjöfors IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Ivarsson came free, but Jonny Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Sven-Erik Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calle Jimena C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Erik Österlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calle Jimena C.F.'s Elliot Ånger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Calle Jimena C.F. from getting a goal against them. If Gunnar Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Spets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jonny Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Ove Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Eliasson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sandsjöfors IFK's zone, Gunnar Ivarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonny Eliasson came out of the goal and Gunnar Ivarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
