Måns Bållström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Björkdal having to interfere. If Karl-Ove Möller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilgot Björkdal made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Vincent Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. Örjan Bergfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Ove Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Björkdal having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Vincent Axelsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vilgot Björkdal to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th minute, Karl-Ove Möller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilgot Björkdal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Fc Trelleborg's Vilgot Björkdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Axelsson in the 31st minute of play. Börje Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of HAMMARBY booed when Fc Trelleborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 54 played minutes Fc Trelleborg got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Dahlqvist. Fc Trelleborg's Vilgot Björkdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Möller in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Vincent Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilgot Björkdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Örjan Dahlqvist hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Fc Trelleborg got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Eskilsson. In the 61stth minute of the game Vincent Axelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Trelleborg's Vilgot Björkdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Dahlqvist in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Albäck saved HAMMARBY from getting behind. Kent Bagge received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. William Albäck came out and tried to block the shot, but Kent Bagge slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 66th minute. William Albäck made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Örjan Dahlqvist sent off a good shot on target. Vilgot Björkdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Möller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Fc Trelleborg's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Möller came free, but Vilgot Björkdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Fc Trelleborg's Kristian Gallberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kristian Gallberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fc Trelleborg protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kristian Gallberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Fc Trelleborg's Kristian Gallberg got a free kick in the 81st minute. Pål Frisck struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Vilgot Björkdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HAMMARBY. Fc Trelleborg's Vilgot Björkdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Axelsson in the 84th minute of play. Karl-Ove Möller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Vilgot Björkdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Vincent Axelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. HAMMARBY's William Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Mellin in the 90th minute of play. After 92 minutes HAMMARBY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Malcolm Östensson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Fc Trelleborg's Elliott Västerberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Börje Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. HAMMARBY were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fc Trelleborg for a fine match.
