He was immediately shown a red card. 59 minutes into the game, one of Vargön RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Hjälteby a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gustaf Fagrell, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vargön RK's Stefan Rolandsson. 1-3. If Dennis Brolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Säfström scored 1-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Odén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfred Snell hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match.
