Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kurt Säfström took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Lundsbrunn getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Evert Nordkvist hit a great ball. With a little luck, Vargön RK's Stefan Rolandsson got control of the ball when Claes Strömberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 8 played minutes Vargön RK got a freekick which was hit by Michael Knutsson. Lundsbrunn's Jan-Ove Palm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Knutsson in the 11th minute of play. Stefan Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Asserlindh in the 16th minute of play. Ingvar Sefastsson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Claes Strömberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Rolandsson having to interfere. Jan-Ove Palm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Knutsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes, Kurt Säfström made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lundsbrunn's Jan-Ove Palm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Vargön RK's Stefan Rolandsson got control of the ball when Claes Strömberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Sverker Asserlindh tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stefan Rolandsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigvard Abrahamsson got free with Stefan Rolandsson in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Sigvard Abrahamsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Rolandsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to Lundsbrunn getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Lennart Arenberg hit a great ball. Stefan Rolandsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigvard Abrahamsson in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Sverker Asserlindh made the kick off in the second half. Sigvard Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Rolandsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Strömberg in the 53rd minute of the match. Jan-Ove Palm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Knutsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Vargön RK's Michael Knutsson got a free kick in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Sigvard Abrahamsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Rolandsson. Vargön RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sigvard Abrahamsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 64 minutes of play, Lundsbrunn's Claes Strömberg made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Rolandsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Asserlindh in the 73rd minute of play forced Vargön RK's goalkeeper Stefan Rolandsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vargön RK's Stefan Rolandsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Strömberg in the 74th minute of play. Stefan Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Strömberg in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vargön RK's Kurt Säfström got a free kick in the 77th minute. Stefan Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Arenberg in the 78th minute of play. Stefan Rolandsson came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lundsbrunn's Sverker Asserlindh. But to his dismay, Sverker Asserlindh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Stefan Rolandsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Asserlindh, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Stefan Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Asserlindh in the 93rd minute of play.
