Telmo Cavalcante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Linus Utfal went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Vätö FK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. 何沙坤 hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fred Strömbom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvin Fredriksson. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. After some careless play in the ÖsterIF defense, Edward Browall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Cavalcante. The ÖsterIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Cavalcante should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd play minute Adrian Öberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alvin Fredriksson. 2-2. If Fred Strömbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Telmo Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Beneth in the 29th minute of the match. Alvin Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Öberg in the 46th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Beneth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fred Strömbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telmo Cavalcante was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Linus Utfal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Linus Utfal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Vätö FK's Alvin Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Strömbom in the 74th minute of play. Adrian Öberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The throw-in from 何沙坤 in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ÖsterIF's Karl-Åke Tunström. In the 79th minute Adrian Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, ÖsterIF's Adrian Öberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvin Fredriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Fred Strömbom struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Alvin Fredriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ÖsterIF. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Adrian Öberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÖsterIF's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Öberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvin Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
