Elliott Ödman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Alrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Sakarias Drake recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. John Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Hybbert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elliott Ödman came out and tried to block the shot, but Thomas Hybbert slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 69th minute. John Sjöberg's late challenge caught a Grimsås FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Sjöberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, FC Finskalejonet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Etxahun got free with Elliott Ödman in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Alrot in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Finskalejonet's goalkeeper Elliott Ödman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludwig Alrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Elliott Ödman made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Finskalejonet's zone, Serafin Etxahun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliott Ödman came out of the goal and Serafin Etxahun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Etxahun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elliott Ödman having to make a save. Sakarias Drake hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes FC Finskalejonet got a freekick which was hit by Romain Lévesque. Grimsås FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
