If Konrad Bank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Stig-Arne Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Målilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Arne Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Tidén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörgen Tidén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Bank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes of play, Målilla's Stig-Arne Lundström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörgen Tidén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Konrad Bank blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jörgen Tidén having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Jules Amara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörgen Tidén was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Jörgen Tidén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Arne Lundström in the 28th minute of play. The Målilla fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Målilla's Stig-Arne Lundström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Stig-Arne Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jules Amara in the 44th minute of play forced Die Dortmunder Mannschaft's goalkeeper Jörgen Tidén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Jonas Hedling made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Konrad Bank reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jörgen Tidén. The goal made the score 0-3. After having played for 62 minutes, Konrad Bank managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Målilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Bank was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Die Dortmunder Mannschaft were furious when Torbjörn Alén was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 67th minute, one of Die Dortmunder Mannschaft:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Die Dortmunder Mannschaft. Vilhelm Ahlén placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Jörgen Tidén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Sillén, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jonas Hedling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Villiam Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Tidén was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Svante Sillén showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 79 minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Målilla's Alfred Hallgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 85th match minute, Målilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Sillén to maneuver through the defense. Svante Sillén managed to, on his own, get straight through Die Dortmunder Mannschaft's defense and in the 88th minute placed the ball to the left of Jörgen Tidén. 0-6. After 92 minutes of play, Målilla's Svante Sillén made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörgen Tidén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Die Dortmunder Mannschaft's Jörgen Tidén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Die Dortmunder Mannschaft from getting a goal against them. Målilla played a much better game than Die Dortmunder Mannschaft and deserved their victory. The Die Dortmunder Mannschaft players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
