An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Sandwall in the 4th minute of play forced Exeter city's goalkeeper Billy Vallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Jens-Ola Pedersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yxlan FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ola Pedersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Vallander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Billy Vallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Sandwall in the 11th minute of the match. If Jens-Ola Pedersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Exeter city's zone, Hubert Valström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Vallander came out of the goal and Hubert Valström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils Sandwall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Yxlan FF's Adam Björklund got control of the ball when Max Ekström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute Max Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Valström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hubert Valström struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Billy Vallander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yxlan FF. Billy Vallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Sandwall in the 39th minute of the match. Hubert Valström struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Billy Vallander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yxlan FF. Nils Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Vallander having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Valström in the 46th minute of play forced Exeter city's goalkeeper Billy Vallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Max Ekström came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Exeter city fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Ekström couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the match, Exeter city's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Pedersson came free, but Billy Vallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Max Ekström came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Exeter city fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Ekström couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Yxlan FF's Jens-Ola Pedersson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Billy Vallander. That made the score 0-1 after 80 minutes of play. Nils Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Vallander having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Viggo Backman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Yxlan FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Exeter city.
