Spectators: 5601 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pēteris Gudelis started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Edsbyn's Ted Alstedt got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Simonsson in the 12th minute of play forced FC Kungshamn's goalkeeper Paul Prislop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Prislop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Alstedt in the 13th minute of play. If Tommy Kielberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes Edsbyn got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Wall. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Vedholm in the 19th minute of play forced FC Kungshamn's goalkeeper Paul Prislop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Simonsson took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Prislop. Paul Prislop dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tommy Kielberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Almkvist having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Edsbyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Simonsson to maneuver through the defense. Charlie Almkvist made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Pēteris Gudelis sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, FC Kungshamn's Pēteris Gudelis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charlie Almkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Ove Vedholm to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Tommy Kielberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Almkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, FC Kungshamn's Pēteris Gudelis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Almkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Marcus Johnsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kungshamn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edsbyn the free kick. In the 61st match minute, FC Kungshamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 71st minute, when Edsbyn's Ulf Simonsson after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Paul Prislop in FC Kungshamn's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Ted Alstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Paul Prislop made a huge save. FC Kungshamn's Paul Prislop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Vedholm in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Edsbyn's Ulf Simonsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 79th minute, Ted Alstedt made a precise shot to the right of Paul Prislop. FC Kungshamn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 84th match minute, Edsbyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Skytt to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Sven-Ove Vedholm reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paul Prislop. The goal made the score 2-4.
