Ernst Öberg made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ted Alstedt sent off a good shot on target. Ted Alstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Fengersfors booed when Edsbyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Skytt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charlie Almkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Vallmark in the 27th minute of the match. Stig-Åke Vallmark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charlie Almkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Josefsson in the 33rd minute of play. Christer Asplund kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Stig-Åke Vallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Almkvist having to interfere. A hard shot 46 in the game by Ted Alstedt from a close distance when the talented Ernst Öberg managed to make a qualified save. Fengersfors's players were relieved.

The wind increased when Sven-Ove Vedholm made the kick off in the second half. Ted Alstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernst Öberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ted Alstedt ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Ove Vedholm took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernst Öberg. Ernst Öberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Fengersfors defense, Sven-Ove Vedholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernst Öberg. The Fengersfors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernst Öberg should have stopped the shot. Ernst Öberg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Edsbyn's Sven-Ove Vedholm shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Fengersfors defense, Sven-Ove Vedholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernst Öberg. The Fengersfors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernst Öberg should have stopped the shot. Ernst Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Vedholm in the 78th minute of the match. Jörn Walmarsson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ted Alstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Ove Vedholm in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernst Öberg saved Fengersfors from getting behind. Edsbyn's Sven-Ove Vedholm got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Ove Vedholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ernst Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fengersfors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
