The audience was convinced that Geleberto Segura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uno Igelström was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the last second Uno Igelström throw himself and got hold of the ball when Geleberto Segura in the 4thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sune Ross short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Uno Igelström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rimbo's Matthias Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Namık Kemal İspirli in the 10th minute of play. Matthias Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Namık Kemal İspirli in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ragnar Björklund notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rimbo's Matthias Eckegren. Matthias Eckegren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ragnar Björklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uno Igelström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geleberto Segura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uno Igelström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sune Ros in the 32nd minute. Humlabjers FF's Namık Kemal İspirli got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Humlabjers FF's Ragnar Björklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matthias Eckegren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Matthias Eckegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Namık Kemal İspirli in the 38th minute of the match. Geleberto Segura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Inge Åhlberg fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rimbo's protests and gave Inge Åhlberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rimbo getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Inge Åhlberg hit a great ball. With a little luck, Rimbo's Matthias Eckegren got control of the ball when Ragnar Björklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 73 minutes on the clock, Gert Qvalfeldt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 74 played minutes Humlabjers FF got a freekick which was hit by Gert Qvalfeldt. Uno Igelström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Törnqvist in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Sune Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Igelström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per Mårtensson made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rimbo's Viggo Björklund. Uno Igelström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Ros, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Namık Kemal İspirli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Namık Kemal İspirli came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Humlabjers FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Namık Kemal İspirli couldn't finish the play. Martin Mester's late challenge caught a Rimbo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Mester helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Humlabjers FF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Martin Mester hit a great ball. Bo Törnqvist, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Humlabjers FF played a much better game than Rimbo and deserved their victory. The Rimbo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
