Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brian Åhlberg kicked off to start the match. Walter Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Åhlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Frank Bjurström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Huskvarna IFK's Simon Örtlund got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Tim Vallander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walter Jonasson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Staffan Isaksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eksjö's Kenny Brander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brian Åhlberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Jonasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Walter Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Åhlberg in the 28th minute of play. If Brian Åhlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Huskvarna IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Walter Jonasson had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Tim Vallander's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olov Ödman in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Jonasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute Brian Åhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Huskvarna IFK defense, Harry Haeger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Jonasson. The Huskvarna IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walter Jonasson should have stopped the shot.

If Brian Åhlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harry Haeger got free with Walter Jonasson in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 played minutes Huskvarna IFK got a freekick which was hit by Simon Örtlund. Tim Vallander was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Huskvarna IFK's Frank Bjurström got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Eksjö's Brian Åhlberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walter Jonasson. That made the score 0-3 after 64 minutes of play. Walter Jonasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Åhlberg's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Frank Bjurström got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 70 played minutes Huskvarna IFK got a freekick which was hit by Frank Bjurström. 74 minutes into the match, Eksjö's Harry Haeger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walter Jonasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elliot Forssell charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliot Forssell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Eksjö booed when Huskvarna IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Forssell didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Åhlberg in the 76th minute of play forced Huskvarna IFK's goalkeeper Walter Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffan Isaksson's late challenge caught a Eksjö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Staffan Isaksson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Huskvarna IFK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Staffan Isaksson hit a great ball. Brian Åhlberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walter Jonasson came out and tried to block the shot, but Brian Åhlberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 78th minute. Walter Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Åhlberg in the 81st minute of play. Harry Haeger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
