Alf Bröms kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Kjell-Arne Sillén, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The coaching staff of Bodafors BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ludvig Danielsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Bodafors BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Söderala:s goal. If Joel Bremming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Per-Arne Dahlman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodafors BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Arne Dahlman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bodafors BK's Michael Björk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Bodafors BK from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Bodafors BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Bremming came free, but Michael Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Valrot kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bodafors BK's Michael Björk got control of the ball when Alf Bröms tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Per-Arne Dahlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Joel Bremming made the kick off in the second half. Michael Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Bremming in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Bodafors BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Bremming came free, but Michael Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Arne Dahlman couldn't finish the play. Bodafors BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
