Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vejbystrand's Axel Åkerberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Rolfstorp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Jakobsson to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Ture Klack in the 6th minute really tested Evert Hedberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Philip Söderström's late challenge caught a Rolfstorp FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Söderström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Vejbystrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Söderström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Åkerberg in the 11th minute of play forced Rolfstorp FK's goalkeeper Evert Hedberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolfstorp FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Axel Åkerberg 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Åkerberg in the 20th minute of play forced Rolfstorp FK's goalkeeper Evert Hedberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Rune Siggman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Fredriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Axel Åkerberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evert Hedberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Åkerberg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes Rolfstorp FK got a freekick which was hit by Wictor Lundin. 29 minutes into the match, Rolfstorp FK's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Åkerberg came free, but Evert Hedberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Rune Siggman scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hubert Fredriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hubert Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Forss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olle Forss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Rune Siggman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Hubert Fredriksson made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Axel Åkerberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evert Hedberg was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the game, Casper Wallmark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rolfstorp FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vejbystrand the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Rolfstorp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Wallmark to maneuver through the defense. Axel Åkerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Evert Hedberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Åkerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evert Hedberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Åkerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Bengt-Rune Siggman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Fredriksson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claes Nyström during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vejbystrand's Claes Nyström got a free kick in the 66th minute. Hubert Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Rune Siggman in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Rolfstorp FK got a corner. Vejbystrand's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hampus Benet ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hampus Benet made a great header on Rolfstorp FK's corner, it was just that Vejbystrand's Hubert Fredriksson managed to reach the ball for a save. Claes Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Hedberg having to interfere. Bengt-Rune Siggman might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hubert Fredriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Rune Siggman ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Vejbystrand's zone, Olle Forss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Fredriksson came out of the goal and Olle Forss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hubert Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Forss, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bengt-Rune Siggman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Fredriksson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolfstorp FK's Olle Forss slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hubert Fredriksson. That made the score 2-2 after 91 minutes of play. Evert Hedberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
