The ball had pretty good speed, but Torsten Olsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Ekeroth in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Paul Borre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Stenström during the 18th minute. SAMAC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Majman to maneuver through the defense. Paul Borre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Markus Stenström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. After 21 played minutes BOS. SAMAC FC got a freekick which was hit by Markus Stenström. When Åke Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the BOS. SAMAC FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Lundqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute Olov Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Borre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Martin Ekeroth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Färjestaden's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Ekeroth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Borre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Ekeroth in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Borre saved BOS. SAMAC FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in BOS. SAMAC FC's zone, Sven-Arne Jonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Borre came out of the goal and Sven-Arne Jonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes BOS. SAMAC FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olov Tingberg who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Olov Eriksson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After the first half Färjestaden were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tommy Söderberg charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. SAMAC FC's Paul Borre got control of the ball when Martin Ekeroth tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olov Eriksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Borre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Marc Lidman notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Färjestaden's Torsten Olsson. Torsten Olsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paul Borre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Ekeroth in the 91st minute of the match. Martin Ekeroth in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paul Borre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
