The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torbjörn Brandt was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Degerfors IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! In the 57th minute, Konrad Bergstedt made a precise shot to the right of Vilhelm Bengtsson. Degerfors IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Robin Hammarström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Viggo Deckberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degerfors IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viggo Deckberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Lions FC defense, Viggo Deckberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Lindholm. The Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Lindholm should have stopped the shot. Lions FC's Kurt Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Walroth in the 91st minute of play. If Ingemar Ståhlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Robin Hammarström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degerfors IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Hammarström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Olof Eklund. Kurt Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Hammarström, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Joacim Törnkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lions FC's zone, Arne Melberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Lindholm came out of the goal and Arne Melberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Degerfors IF fully deserved thier win.
