Frank Colin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Frank Colin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Clementsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Stefan Hellström scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ture Vikström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Gunnar Ahlfors fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 24th minute, Gunnar Ahlfors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christopher Backman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Emil Clementsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eskilstuna IF's Agne Lindell got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Gunnar Ahlfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Frank Colin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torpsbruk FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Colin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Frank Colin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Hellström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Torpsbruk FK's Gunnar Ahlfors nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Clementsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Frank Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Torpsbruk FK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Christopher Backman hit a great ball. Ture Vikström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Michel Gadd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Hellström in the 70th minute of play forced Torpsbruk FK's goalkeeper Ture Vikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Eskilstuna IF got a freekick which was hit by Evert Martinsson. After 78 played minutes Torpsbruk FK got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Backman. Gunnar Ahlfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Clementsson having to interfere. Torpsbruk FK's Ture Vikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Hellström in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Torpsbruk FK had played much better football throughout.
