In the 18th match minute, FC Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Odeen to maneuver through the defense. Mikael Markusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Eliasson's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The supporters of Skogås booed when FC Hammers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Hammers's Niklas Gråberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Hammers from getting a goal against them. FC Hammers's Niklas Gråberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Haeger in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Kjell Blom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Hammers and the Skogås players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of FC Hammers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skogås:s goal. When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, Skogås's Göran Smedfeldt got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Niklas Gråberg. 34 minutes into the match, Skogås's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Ahlstedt came free, but Mikael Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Skogås's Gilbert Fredriksson got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hugo Sörman's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Mikael Markusson on his right side and into the goal. 37 minutes into the game it was 1-1. After 42 played minutes FC Hammers got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Blom. 44 minutes into the match, Skogås's Göran Smedfeldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niklas Gråberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Viktor Ahlstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mikael Markusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half FC Hammers were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Haeger made a kick off. Skogås's Mikael Markusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Skogås from getting a goal against them. Mikael Markusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Ahlstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Viktor Ahlstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikael Markusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 79th match minute, FC Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Sörman to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Skogås's goalkeeper Mikael Markusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustav Löfkvist. After having played for 82 minutes, Viktor Ahlstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hammers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Ahlstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Gustav Löfkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Mikael Markusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Hammers's Josef Granström was substituted for Gustav Löfkvist. In the 93rd match minute, FC Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Odeen to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Frank Haeger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Hammers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
