Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mullhyttan FF's Evert Pedersson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joakim Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Pedersson in the 3rd minute of the match. Evert Pedersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joakim Holm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evert Pedersson ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Evert Pedersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joakim Holm was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, one of Lögdeå:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lögdeå. The referee gave Mullhyttan FF a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sven-Olof Albäck, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lögdeå's Joakim Holm. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Pedersson in the 14th minute of play forced Lögdeå's goalkeeper Joakim Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Pedersson struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Joakim Holm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mullhyttan FF. Hampus Anundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Sven-Olof Albäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Åke Tunander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lögdeå getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ove Sjödin hit a great ball. A collision led to Lögdeå getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Otto Nilsson hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Evert Pedersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mullhyttan FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Pedersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lögdeå's Hampus Anundsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Joakim Lindström fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mullhyttan FF's protests and gave Joakim Lindström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Mullhyttan FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Lindström to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Ralf Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mullhyttan FF booed when Lögdeå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Sjödin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes Lögdeå got a freekick which was hit by William Forsberg. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joakim Hallgren made a kick off. Evert Pedersson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 51st playminute. Matthias Säf hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Nilsson during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 68 minutes into the game, Sigvard Johansson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mullhyttan FF's Sven-Åke Tunander quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alf Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Sjödin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joakim Holm made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Evert Pedersson sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Olof Albäck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Joakim Holm made a huge save. Otto Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Åberg having to interfere. Lögdeå's Joakim Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Pedersson in the 91st minute of play. Lögdeå's Joakim Holm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Lögdeå from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Lögdeå's zone, Sven-Åke Tunander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Holm came out of the goal and Sven-Åke Tunander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
