Inge Västberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Överman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the IFK Norrköping defense, Evert Edström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inge Västberg. The IFK Norrköping fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inge Västberg should have stopped the shot. If Evert Edström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inge Västberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Överman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egon Överman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Inge Västberg 72 minutes into the match. Egon Överman in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Inge Västberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Evert Edström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
