Kovland's Simon Vollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Blomkvist in the 28th minute of play. Simon Vollander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Blomkvist's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Simon Vollander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Ekenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kovland getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nils-Erik Kiempe hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Bengt-Rune Björklund took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Simon Vollander to make any attempt to save it. Emil Blomkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Vollander having to make a save. When Edgar Beck fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kovland's protests and gave Edgar Beck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 98th minute, Edgar Beck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbapappas Lärjungar FC played a much better game than Kovland and deserved their victory. The Kovland players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
