In the 8th minute, Henrik Back left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tierp IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kryspin Pozorski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Back in the 12th minute of play. Anton Magnusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ture Wahlnäs in the 14th minute. Royal FC's Kryspin Pozorski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Berggren in the 21st minute of play. Jan-Olof Aronsson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Anton Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Tierp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Ekeroth came free, but Anton Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ove Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pål Hagberg made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ove Berggren immediately put the ball in play. Anton Magnusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Ove Broman in the 41st minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Berggren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ture Wahlnäs scored 2-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Magnusson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Tierp IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Magnusson should have stopped the shot. After 61 played minutes Royal FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Koch. After having played for 67 minutes, Ove Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tierp IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Berggren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ture Wahlnäs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Magnusson having to make a save. Royal FC were furious when Leandro Diniz was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Royal FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tierp IF:s goal. Henrik Back succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-5 in the 82nd playminute. After having played for 89 minutes, Ove Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anton Magnusson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Berggren got free with Kryspin Pozorski in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, Henrik Back dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kryspin Pozorski, 4-6. The Royal FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tierp IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Tierp IF.
