When Jan-Åke Rudqvist came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Malå fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Rudqvist couldn't finish the play. Peter Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Vesterberg scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Rune Käller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Vilgot Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hampus Beckman made a huge save. Vincent Lundqvists short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Hampus Beckman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 27th minute, Vilgot Åkesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pelle Hedström struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Bengt-Rune Käller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malå. The supporters of Malå booed when K.F Gagisha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Bivall didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jan-Åke Rudqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Peter Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Käller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Malå's Peter Löfgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt-Rune Käller made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Bengt-Rune Käller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Rudqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincent Lundqvist made a kick off. Hampus Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Åkesson in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Malå's Pelle Hedström got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Vincent Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Beckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Rune Käller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Vesterberg in the 72nd minute. 78 minutes into the game, Malå's Tomas Vesterberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt-Rune Käller made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Tomas Vesterberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. The Malå players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
