Borrby RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK STD the free kick. After 4 played minutes Borrby RK got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Ek. Mats Söderqwist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Erik Svanberg in the 6th minute of play. Linus Levander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Bremming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Ahlkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Borrby RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Vollander to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Erik Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Svanberg in the 17th minute of play forced Borrby RK's goalkeeper Mats Söderqwist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Alrot hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see IFK STD's Patrick Överman in action when he in the 27th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Svanberg in the 30th minute of play forced Borrby RK's goalkeeper Mats Söderqwist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Mats Nyman lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Mats Söderqwist. Mats Söderqwist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Erik Svanberg in the 37th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Karl-Erik Svanberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Söderqwist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Erik Svanberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Oskar Emander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Söderqwist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Matthias Söderqwist's late challenge caught a IFK STD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthias Söderqwist helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Borrby RK got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Söderqwist. Linus Levander made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Birger Wallin sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Michel Västerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Söderqwist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Erik Svanberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Michel Västerberg scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Söderqwist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 78 minutes of play, IFK STD's Mats Nyman made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Söderqwist was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Erik Svanberg in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mats Söderqwist saved Borrby RK from getting behind. After some careless play in the Borrby RK defense, Karl-Erik Svanberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Söderqwist. The Borrby RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Söderqwist should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Månsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Borrby RK's goalkeeper Mats Söderqwist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthias Söderqwist kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. IFK STD fully deserved thier win.
