Kristoffer Lind's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wlodzimierz Oborski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Blåvik Stars getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Kevin Ahlstedt hit a great ball. When Blåvik Stars's Valdemar Axelsson in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Husum FF's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Blåvik Stars's Valdemar Axelsson got a free kick in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Husum FF's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Axelsson came free, but Arvin Vedholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvin Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Husum FF's Kenny Åström got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Axelsson in the 28th minute of play forced Husum FF's goalkeeper Arvin Vedholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristoffer Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Wlodzimierz Oborski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Dalberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Dalberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Blåvik Stars got a freekick which was hit by Carl Dalberg. In the 33rd minute of the match, Kenny Åström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wlodzimierz Oborski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Husum FF's Kenny Åström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wlodzimierz Oborski. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Husum FF's Nils-Åke Sävström got a free kick in the 37th minute. Kristoffer Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Wlodzimierz Oborski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Blåvik Stars's zone, Kenny Åström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wlodzimierz Oborski came out of the goal and Kenny Åström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Kenny Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Husum FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenny Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdemar Axelsson to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Valdemar Axelsson put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arvin Vedholm. Husum FF's Arvin Vedholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Husum FF from getting a goal against them. Arvin Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Valdemar Axelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blåvik Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Valdemar Axelsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arvin Vedholm came out and tried to block the shot, but Valdemar Axelsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Kristoffer Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Oborski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Husum FF's Arvin Vedholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Skytt in the 79th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Birger Mørkved kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arvin Vedholm. That made the score 1-4 in the 82 minute of play. Wlodzimierz Oborski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Kevin Ahlstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blåvik Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Husum FF the free kick. After 88 played minutes Blåvik Stars got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Ahlstedt. Husum FF's Arvin Vedholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Husum FF from getting a goal against them. Birger Mørkved hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Blåvik Stars's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
