Spectators: 7172 (Terracing: 5381, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elof Holmgren made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Alf Löfskog had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Vassenius. Svampe IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alf Löfskog was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Svampe IF defense, Malcolm Jonsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Vassenius. The Svampe IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Vassenius should have stopped the shot. Samuel Gallberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Börge Grelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Holmgren in the 24th minute of the match. Alf Löfskog took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Vassenius. Marcus Vassenius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Marcus Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Zebastian Söder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Zebastian Söder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gislaved BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Oskar Ugla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Svampe IF's Marcus Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Löfskog in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oskar Ugla to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Svampe IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zebastian Söder fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 61st minute, Samuel Gallberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svampe IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. If Samuel Gallberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svampe IF's Samuel Gallberg got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Svampe IF got a freekick which was hit by Sture Byström. In the 81st minute Elof Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svampe IF's Marcus Vassenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Svampe IF from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Gislaved BK's Malcolm Jonsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Marcus Vassenius made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Alf Löfskog sent off a good shot on target. Alf Löfskog's late challenge caught a Svampe IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf Löfskog helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gislaved BK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alf Löfskog hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Svampe IF's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Jonsson came free, but Marcus Vassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Gislaved BK's Elof Holmgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcus Vassenius. Marcus Vassenius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. When the match was over Gislaved BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Svampe IF throughout the match.
