The referee ignored Svampe IF's protests and gave Samuel Gallberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Svampe IF's Samuel Gallberg got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Pencho Tashkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Gallberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Ekman having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Qvarnström during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Arboga FK booed when Svampe IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Qvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes, Arboga FK's Pencho Tashkov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcus Vassenius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arboga FK reached it. Marcus Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Collin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Arboga FK's Magnus Ekman got control of the ball when Samuel Gallberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Vassenius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven Browall went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute Sven Browall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Svampe IF's Samuel Gallberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Magnus Ekman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Svampe IF's Jimmie Ålberg got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Sture Byström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Browall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Persson in the 36th minute of the match. Marcus Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Collin in the 37th minute of play. Marcus Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Browall, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven Browall made a kick off. Marcus Vassenius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wictor Persson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. Marcus Vassenius made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Wictor Persson sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Vassenius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Collin in the 70th minute. Svampe IF's Tommy Qvarnström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joachim Axelsson in the 91 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Sven Browall took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Marcus Vassenius to make any attempt to save it. Marcus Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Browall in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Arboga FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Svampe IF.
