The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Henric Alströmmer put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fabian Tolsson. If Timmy Landin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Alströmmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henric Alströmmer in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Tolsson saved Blomstermåla from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdemar Ugla during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Blomstermåla's Valdemar Ugla got a free kick in the 13th minute. Valdemar Ugla was shown his second yellow card after 15 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Landin in the 21st minute of play forced Blomstermåla's goalkeeper Fabian Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Skatornas BK got a freekick which was hit by Henric Alströmmer. In the 27th minute, Henric Alströmmer made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Tolsson. Blomstermåla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Åke Engman hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Skatornas BK's Henric Alströmmer got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, Blomstermåla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Engman to maneuver through the defense. If Henric Alströmmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timmy Landin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fabian Tolsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Henric Alströmmer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blomstermåla's Fabian Tolsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Tolsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Harlén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Västerstrand was the one to do the kick off. Dick Harlén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Fabian Tolsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Lundqvist hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Alex Nordal in the 54th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Fabian Tolsson's left hand side. A collision led to Blomstermåla getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jack Västerstrand hit a great ball. Henric Alströmmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Harlén in the 66th minute of play forced Blomstermåla's goalkeeper Fabian Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Henric Alströmmer took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Fabian Tolsson to make any attempt to save it. Skatornas BK made a substitution. João Reis replaced Mattias Pihlblad. Henric Alströmmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Tolsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Henric Alströmmers short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Fabian Tolsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Skatornas BK's Per-Arne Benett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Vedholm in the 88th minute of play. Fabian Tolsson made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Henric Alströmmer sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute Henric Alströmmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Tolsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skatornas BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
