In the 16th minute, Lennart Hamnberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Staffan Axelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Bern in the 20th minute of play forced Shadoows FC's goalkeeper Staffan Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Wahlnäs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Gustavsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Sandström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Gustavsson ran back to his position shaking his head. When FC Abiat's Jens-Ove Bern in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Staffan Axelsson came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Abiat's Torsten Wahlnäs. But to his dismay, Torsten Wahlnäs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Staffan Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Bern in the 44th minute of the match. Jens-Ove Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Staffan Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Shadoows FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pelle Karlsson hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Torsten Wahlnäs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Staffan Axelsson was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shadoows FC! The goalkeeper, Staffan Axelsson, was totally fooled by FC Abiat's Karl-Ove Blomquist, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Joel Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Shadoows FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Wahlnäs came free, but Staffan Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staffan Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Wahlnäs, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Staffan Axelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Ove Bern in the 70th minute. Jens-Ove Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Staffan Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Ove Berns short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Staffan Axelsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 86 minutes into the match, Shadoows FC's goalkeeper Staffan Axelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesper Brummer. In the 94th minute Torsten Wahlnäs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Hamnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Axelsson having to interfere. When the match was over FC Abiat could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Shadoows FC throughout the match.
