Brommapojkarna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 13th minute Kaj Hedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinberg FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Kaj Hedin scored to the left of an out of position Kjell Håkansson, making the score, 1-1. Joar Nyström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Sonny Wenerdahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brommapojkarna's Sigvard Waller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Wenerdahl in the 30th minute of play forced Brommapojkarna's goalkeeper Sigvard Waller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
