STRAND IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NOV 87 the free kick. The supporters of NOV 87 booed when STRAND IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Finman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, STRAND IF's Ingvar Finman got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Prince Ibrahimović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henning Rydberg made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Andi Kulla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NOV 87 and the STRAND IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes NOV 87 got a freekick which was hit by Andi Kulla. Rasmus Hägg who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Sigvard Lind's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Rasmus Hägg was beeing forced to shoot. STRAND IF were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after NOV 87's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rasmus Hägg took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Rasmus Hägg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sigvard Lind quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Michael Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andi Kulla in the 80th minute of the match. Andi Kulla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michael Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Hult in the 85th minute of play. Michael Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prince Ibrahimović in the 87th minute of the match. Prince Ibrahimović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Hedvall having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NOV 87 fully deserved thier win.
