Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bengt-Arne Back made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th match minute, Övertorneå FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. Väsby United's Veselin Yosifov got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patric Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Albäck having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Patric Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väsby United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patric Olofsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Övertorneå FK's zone, Veselin Yosifov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Albäck came out of the goal and Veselin Yosifov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balthasar Lugg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Oskar Bammerman in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Emil Billvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes of play, Väsby United's Patric Olofsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddie Albäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Per-Oskar Bammerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt-Arne Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Albäck having to interfere. If Per-Oskar Bammerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Back cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eddie Albäck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Övertorneå FK's Michael Gustafsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Balthasar Lugg. That made the score 1-2 after 42 minutes of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per-Oskar Bammerman to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Patric Olofsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Övertorneå FK's Eddie Albäck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patric Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Eddie Albäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Arne Back got free with Eddie Albäck in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balthasar Lugg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Bammerman in the 60th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Veselin Yosifov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Väsby United's zone, Per-Oskar Bammerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balthasar Lugg came out of the goal and Per-Oskar Bammerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Rolandsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthasar Lugg having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Väsby United's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Rolandsson came free, but Balthasar Lugg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Patric Olofsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eddie Albäck. Patric Olofsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Olofsson in the 71st minute of play forced Övertorneå FK's goalkeeper Eddie Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Arne Back in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eddie Albäck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Per-Oskar Bammerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthasar Lugg having to interfere. If Jan-Åke Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tobias Rolandsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Övertorneå FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Rolandsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balthasar Lugg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Övertorneå FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Väsby United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
