In the 4th minute, Niclas Christoffersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Enhörna BK's zone, Egil Alebom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Wiberg came out of the goal and Egil Alebom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Christian Hasselqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvard Ek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Rydelius in the 13th minute of play forced Enhörna BK's goalkeeper Per Wiberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Dan Tunberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvard Ek. Volvo IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Tunberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Egil Alebom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per Wiberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Volvo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Edvard Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Jonsson in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Jonsson in the 27th minute of play forced Volvo IF's goalkeeper Edvard Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Christian Hasselqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvard Ek. Volvo IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Hasselqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some careless play in the Volvo IF defense, Christian Hasselqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvard Ek. The Volvo IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvard Ek should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Walter Rydelius reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Per Wiberg. The goal made the score 1-4. After having played for 43 minutes, Walter Rydelius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volvo IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Rydelius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egil Alebom was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Enhörna BK's Niclas Christoffersson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Edwin Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Enhörna BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Jonsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvard Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the game, Simon Mårtensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Volvo IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enhörna BK the free kick. Niclas Christoffersson charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niclas Christoffersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Enhörna BK got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Christoffersson. 63 minutes into the match, Volvo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Tunberg came free, but Edvard Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Niclas Christoffersson took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Edvard Ek to make any attempt to save it. In the 71st minute Christian Hasselqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Ek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niclas Christoffersson was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Edvard Ek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Jonsson in the 79th minute. Christian Hasselqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvard Ek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Hasselqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Edwin Jonsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Edvard Ek made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Kurt Bure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens Kristiansson hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Enhörna BK's Per Wiberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Alebom in the 88th minute of play. Enhörna BK's Edwin Jonsson got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edwin Jonsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvard Ek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Christian Hasselqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Enhörna BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Hasselqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvard Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enhörna BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
