Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 100) An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Bergendahl in the 5th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Kasper Gullesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Pelle Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes of play, Liverpool FC's Isaac Lundgren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig-Ove Ekeroth was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stig-Ove Ekeroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. LA Galaxy's Jimmie Berglund got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Arenberg came free, but Kasper Gullesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 24 minutes on the clock, Lukas Sörman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Melker Pihlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Jimmie Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Douglas Billström to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Isaac Lundgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA Galaxy's Stig-Ove Ekeroth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Liverpool FC's Pelle Ekström tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. LA Galaxy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
