Thomas Harman hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Bernt Rönn stood somewhat misplaced when Algot Blomqvist came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Lamhot Yuwono sped through Piteå FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernt Rönn. Bernt Rönn made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Lamhot Yuwono sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Olof Kellbom hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Piteå FK's Bernt Rönn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamhot Yuwono in the 30th minute of play. If Thomas Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 36 in the game by Lamhot Yuwono from a close distance when the talented Bernt Rönn managed to make a qualified save. Piteå FK's players were relieved. Lerdala IF's Lamhot Yuwono got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leif Ekelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lamhot Yuwono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bernt Rönn made a huge save. After having played for 44 minutes, Christopher Sigfridsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piteå FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christopher Sigfridsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lamhot Yuwono to make the kick off. Lerdala IF's Calin Cristea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Stolpe in the 54th minute of play. Lamhot Yuwono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bernt Rönn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamhot Yuwono in the 61st minute of play forced Piteå FK's goalkeeper Bernt Rönn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lamhot Yuwono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calin Cristea having to interfere. Lerdala IF's Leif Ekelund quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sigvard Ahlfors, made in the 75th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lamhot Yuwono in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernt Rönn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lamhot Yuwono took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernt Rönn. Bernt Rönn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Lerdala IF were furious when Kjell Landin was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 88th minute, one of Lerdala IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lerdala IF. Lerdala IF:s Calin Cristea showed great skill when he stopped Gustav Lindblom:s penalty. Leif Ekelund kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Lerdala IF were the better team. Lerdala IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
