In the 18th minute of the match, Ludvig Isaksson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joacim Söderquist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joacim Söderquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Máté Toldi went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Karl-Erik Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Frisk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joacim Söderquist was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Máté Toldi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Máté Toldi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Ludvig Isaksson scored 3-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joacim Söderquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joacim Söderquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Szarmach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes Glimåkra BF got a freekick which was hit by Börje Frisk. The supporters of Glimåkra BF booed when Hammarby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Bagge didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mariano Barrantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludvig Isaksson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludvig Isaksson in the 53rd minute of play forced Glimåkra BF's goalkeeper Joacim Söderquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joacim Söderquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvig Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Joacim Söderquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Isaksson in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Hammarby IF getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Verner Bagge hit a great ball. Karl-Erik Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Barrantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Hammarby IF's Karl-Erik Spetz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Hammarby IF from getting a goal against them. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hammarby IF reached it. Mariano Barrantes scored 4-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Erik Spetz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hammarby IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Glimåkra BF for a fine match.
