Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Freddy Kruger made the kick off which started today's match. Bror Kjellman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Moberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Brian Bogren was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Sebastiano Rydberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastiano Rydberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 19 minutes Katrineholms Järnkaminer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Conny Fernström who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on IV Drottninghamn's corner Conny Fernström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bror Kjellman quite easily take care of the ball. Katrineholms Järnkaminer's Edvin Odman got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvin Odman got free with Brian Bogren in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the game, Sebastiano Rydberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brian Bogren. Sebastiano Rydberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Bror Kjellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Björnsson in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Dick Björnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dick Björnsson was the one to do the kick off. Katrineholms Järnkaminer's Bror Kjellman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Katrineholms Järnkaminer from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Katrineholms Järnkaminer's goalkeeper Bror Kjellman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Greger Berglund hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Anton Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. IV Drottninghamn's Brian Bogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Kruger in the 64th minute of play. Brian Bogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Hegg in the 65th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Jerzy Kocieniewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IV Drottninghamn and the Katrineholms Järnkaminer players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute of the match Anton Holmberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brian Bogren skillfully saved the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Hans Pettersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bror Kjellman skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute, Dick Björnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IV Drottninghamn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in IV Drottninghamn's zone, Edvin Odman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Bogren came out of the goal and Edvin Odman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sven Hegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dick Björnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brian Bogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastiano Rydberg in the 96th minute of the match.
